Last month I purchased 6 of these little beauties from Sp00ky AKA ####.

Since acquiring them, they've grown loads, but since I couldn't take pics of them when they arrived, I haven't got any to show just how much they've grown. They are pretty hard to focus on and although they sit in front when they see me (knowing I am the feeding person), they don't like the camera. I did however get a couple of pics of the biggest and hope you like them.

They are just too cute. Will try get some pics of all the cories we have. There are loads.

I love those fish!
I harass jollysue all the time wanting her to post pics of hers. I wanted some, but they cost way too much for me to get any time soon.
I will have some one day though!

I just found the site. I really wish he was in the states. They are really cheap!

I know, they are really hard to come by. And I bet there in the states you battle. Sp00ky was very good with his prices and we really didn't pay that much for them. I've seen them go for ridiculous prices on Ebay and of course on your Aquabid.

Hopefully jollysue's lot will spawn and you can get some off her.

;)

Super! Congrats on some lovely fish. As they are aeneus I am expecting them to be prolific. They really are hard to photograph with much detail though. They are looking good. Are they staring to nuzzle yet?

Thanks jollysue

By nuzzle, do you mean each other? They're still swimming together and barely apart. Although, saying that, they all love the Concolors and are always with one of the 4 big Concolors.

I am SO HAPPY I finally have some of these little guys. Too cute.

:good:

Awesome fish you have there. Us here down under get no good corys like that :( We arn't allowed to trade fish on ebay at all. End of ramble. I bet they like great when they shoal together

Thanks all

Sorry to hear you can't get many cories down under Bozza. It's really frustrating when you find the perfect cory for your tank, and you can't get any.

Jollysue, they are still young, and it will still be a while before we can sex them. So hopefully in a few months, I'll have a good idea how many of each I have. I am hoping we have a good number of each. But either way, I am glad SO HAPPY to finally have a group of these stunners. They are so GORGEOUS!!!

Must still get some pics of all my cories.

:D

Yes! It's time for the rest of you to step up the photos.

haha I thought the little blighters might be trying already. C. aeneus are born ready to go.

 I know, a bit slack with the pics.

I know what you mean about them being born ready. We had a few doing the sexy dance and trying to spawn with the spawning group at just 3 months when we still had our Bronze C. Aeneus group.

The C. schultzei "Blacks" are no way as prolific as the normal C. aeneus (bronze). AlaxAndCarmen's "Blacks" have a long way to go before they are anywhere near to breedable size, I would think at least a year.

Ian

Thanks Ian

It's a good thing that we're patient then. I must admit, it would be lovely to have them breed later on, but if they don't, we're still glad to have them.

:D

Yes! Thanks, Ian. I was just on my way to correct my ignorance--One more time! :hyper: The blacks ar C. schultzei. Actually I had wondered, because their shape is very different than C aeneus.

Sorry, Alex and Carmen.
