HELP!!!!
Whilst observing my fish today i notice a few black spots on two of my rainbow fish, i am totally bermused by this as i have never seen this before, and on my pathetic attempt to go through any fish guides *yawn* hasnt helped (mind you its almost two in the morning, so i properbly read the right page 5 times and haven't realised it)
The black/ brown spots are on the small female and a few on the large male (both newe guinea rainbows) the rest of the fish seem fine, havent done an extensive check though so maybe tommoro might be a different story...
my water parameters are:
Ammonia 0.01
No3 50 - could be due to the plant food i put in earlier before taking these readings
No2 1 (?) - dunno why it says 1, but it does
Tank Temp. 25c
Filtration Fluvial 304
Fluvial 2 +
Fluvial 1 +
The balck/ brown spots are smaller than a grain of salt and are spread around the center of the fishes body.
Any suggestions on what it may be - then i can do some research and see if it is that
Many Thanks
