I just saw this fish while surfin the net. Does anyone know what it is. Is it freshwater/tropical etc etc. It's yelow and black striped. It's the shape of a plattie but longer, and with a forked tail, not fanned. Has any one heard or it? it's really pretty

These fish are Characins that reach up to 12" so they need a tank of at least 75 gallons with good filtration. They are tropical and can survive anywhere between 23 and 27 centigrade. They eat mainly vegetable matter like Cucumber, Spinach, Lettuce etc. However, they are quite aggressive fish and will attack any tank mate that won't defend itself and they can inflict some serious damage and even cause death.

that's pretty interesting.
I think I WONT be getting one of those!
