they are amazing pets! wat was amazing about the bite was the fact that it didnt really hurt at first lol.only after applying alchohal and disinfectant did it actually hurt like hell. the reason the bite aint so bad was cuz this guy's not yet fully grown.

pretty dull to keep to be honest

I had 9 quite large ones in my 150g tank last year, nice to look at but they don;t make the most interesting tank inhabitants plus due to the diet they don;t half foul the water

For the OP I would imagine that the red belly is always scaredin that tank as it has no backing or much cover in there? Its a pretty small tank, is it just the one in there?

nah, there's a total of 7 piranhas in the 75g tank.im planning on upgrading to a 150g for them soon. I used to have plants in that tank, but they tore them all up. :shout:

cool it just looked a lot smaller than 75g if it was the one without the backing by the window.

are the RBP's skittish at all?

normally my piranha aren't skittish at all. especially doing feeding time. only time they get skittish is when i do water change or when i turn on the lights suddenly

I do hope that wound doesn`t become infected -_-
