Sorry if you loose a few days to these links haha - but seriously what else is there to do in lockdown
Happy day...what the hell is the matter with you, Wills? Can't you see that I am already struggling under the weight of my addiction? For god sakes, man, I have clients expecting me to be working! Hmm...but I will give them the illusion that I am working, which is fair because they give me the illusion that they will pay my bill on time. But still! I have a wife who expects...well...very little of me, as long as we're being honest here. I mean, she sorta runs the joint and only expects me to put the pillow cases on my pillows, which I grudgingly do, because she strips the bed, washes the sheets, puts the bed back together and then intentionally puts the pillow cases on top of the naked pillows on my side of the bed and I figure I could do her that one small favor. You know she irons the pillow cases? I mean, who does that? Probably the same twisted sort of mindset that gives someone diagnosed with MTS a link to yet another intoxicating set of biotopes and blithely says "You should check this out." My friends spend their time on porn hub and use bitcoin to hide their transactions from their spouses. You think Sachs Aquaculture takes bitcoin? No he doesn't, thank you very much.
Ah well, I figure the best part of all of this is that, ultimately, a lot of these critters and plants can't readily be sourced in the US. I'm going to go out to the Everglades and drag some wood out of the swamp and throw it in a bucket. I need to start getting some manky stuff for the eventual horde of stiphodons to chow on this summer.
No lockdown where I am. Our local government has long pushed the notion that we are responsible for our own survival. Case in point...a few years ago a category 5 hurricane was coming to make landfall here. The officials on TV said that they were issuing an evacuation order, but that they weren't enforcing it. If folks wanted to stay put, they could, but it should be known that no one would be coming for them for quite some time, and if folks were staying, to please have the courtesy to write their social security number in black marker on at least one calf and forearm. This way, if something ran off with a limb or twom or it was otherwise separated from the body during the storm, they'd have an odds-on bet of knowing who one was. Good common sense right there.
