Just thinking of getting a 30 litt one with a marine kit .Just wondered what you could fit in it.Any ideas. thanks josh.

Glad you asked Josh, biorb aquariums are very poor choices for marine tanks. The curved glass is an ENORMOUS pain in the rear to keep clean and glass cleaning is a way of life in marine aquaria. Furthermore, their filtration systems are well designed to lead to the longterm buildup of nitrates which are more of a problem in marine systems than in our freshwater cousins. Hopefully you don't already have the tank, because I would strongly advise against it. Sorry to burst your bubble, but a standard square tank or one of the nano cube options are much more user-friendly

I can say from first hand experience that BiOrbs are not a good choice for marine.I changed my 60l over with the conversion kit and it seemed ok at first, the problems started when i added live rock.Because i had to lean the rock against the sides it created big areas that just couldnt be cleaned.I only had CUC in it and after about 3 weeks the sides were filthy.I ended up £80 down on the cost of the kit and have now changed my 260l over to marine because i fell in love with the crew i already had!

No havent bought one yet just thought id ask first, i thought there looked like there could be problems .I will have to save a bit more to get a square tank then no rush.

Glad we saved you the money :). While your waiting, have a look see through some online livestock retailers like liveaquaria.com to figure out what you may want to keep and some of the possibilities out there :good:

Biorbs aren't even good for freshwater, really. Let alone saltwater. :D
