Bio Orb

I have recently purchased a 30 ltr. tropical bio orb. I have followed the instructions to the letter regarding setting up the orb and everything was fine until I checked it this morning and the water had gone cloudy. There are no fish in the tank yet only synthetic plants help for the novice please

How long has it been set up?
My Bi-Ube was pretty cloudy for the first (fishless) week but after that has been crystal clear.

new tanks cansuffer from a bacteria bloom (i think thatrs the name), the water will look foggy. should be gone in a few days and water changes can help. nothing to worry about at all though

Hi,

Read the pinned topics on fishless cycling. The water needs to be cycled before fish are added, this can be done by adding ammonia on a daily basis, all explained under fishless cycling.
