has anyone got any suggestions for a couple of bigger fish for a 40G tank thank currently has 17 harlequins 3 kuhlis and 10 neons. Been told that german or bolivian rams are the go, saw some today at my LFS and they are very nice looking fish, but was told they dont grow much past a couple of inches.... looking for something that grows to 4to5 inches....that dosnt eatt my small fish...surely thats not too much to ask...;)

How about angels or keyhole cichlids. Both might go after your neons though. Really any fish that gets to 4-5 inches would have a high probability of going after your neons.

Firemouths, Angels, Keyholes are some good choices of cichlid. Appistos makes a great addition to community aquaria as they don't grow too big but exhibit beautifull colouration. If your not after a cichlid there are some stunning gourami's you can get such as Opaline Gourami, Pearl/Snakeskin Gourami.
