Hey hey, well my big moving day is getting closser and closser. Well it's not really that big a move just to the flat outside actually. I have givin this move a lot of thought and i know it's gonna be a mission and a half! I have a 4 foot & a sump so i'm looking at around 280liters of water and 25 kgs live rock and 25 kgs crused coral.

My lfs has agreed to lend me a huge drum that i want to pump water into from my tank on the second floor to the flat outside (i'll use a hose pipe) And i've got 2 big containers for the rock and sand. Now the main problem is- I'm getting the expert from lfs to come down and cut a overflow in my tank and i'll need to silicon the box on and all that, so this move is gonna take a while which means that my fish are gonna be sitting in packets for a long times, and tempretures have been reaching mid to high 30's nowdays. So i'm a bit worried about my lion fish spending the better part of a day in a pacet of dirty hot water :-(

And to add to that my lfs gave me about 20 or so tiny start fish they're extremely cute but you can hardly ever see them unless they're on the glass so i'm worried that they're gonna get killed in the move. And wont all the algea and stuff on my glass die off if not under water the whole time? because i have been trying to get stuff to grow on my back and side windows and it has just started to take off, so is this all gonna die and i'm gonna have to wait?

instead of putting your fish in bags put them in a 5.5 gallon barrel/drum with a opening about CD size that way they will be better and less chance of stress, i did it and they were fine just dont rush it :D

I was thinking bout this, but then how do you add them back to the tank, cause i'm sure there's gonna be different water temps, or do you not need to really need to aclimatise them again?
