Big Grumps

Well
I have been battling with one of the Crabs,
Big Grumps as i have called him, stuffs himself into the smallest shell out of all the ones i gave him, and has not wanted to budge from it for a few weeks.

well finally this morning he moved.
During my weekly cleaning and checking routine with them.
I washed him and cleaned his shell, and hey presto out he pops. and scuttles up my arm for safety.

I quickly put him in a soft lined box with lots of larger shells.

OMG he actually chooses the best and most expensive shell.

Its razor sharp with the mos beuatiful colors

will get pix of him later in his new home.

he is still getting used to having a shell 5 times his size.

He is a really Fickle Guy, Found him back in another Shell tonight - Grumpy Sod.
Yeah once they are comfortable with you, they re very friendly. All of mine like to test there strenght by gripping onto my nails and seeing how much they can pull with all their might.

grumps is the strongest and he won't back down or let go.

did them a taller tank last night, so they have more climbing space.

Grumps moved back into a tiny shell compared to his size
