Big Crack In Tank!

anyone know of anywhere that does made to measure glass - the bottom of my tank has a massive crack in the base (soooo annoyed) will sealant work? anybody know of any solutions?? im in west yorkshire

Sorry, don't know of any glass/cutting companies.
 
Just in case worst comes to worst, would have another tank or plastic containers with spare airstones/filter/heater on standby just in case.
 
Can you post a pic so have idea whether sealant or anything that might work as temp repair.

i've got them in various other tanks and boxes with heaters etc. will try upload a photo

I've heard of folk using silicone to glue a second piece of glass over the top of the crack then using more silicone around the edges for good measure, but you must remember that the structural integrity has been compromised and it may "give" at anytime, much better option would be to get new panel remove the damaged one entirely and replace.
