Big Cory O_o

I was in a LFS today and I saw these really huge cories! You guys probably can tell me they aren't that amazing, but I've never seen such big guys! They were at least 3 inches long. I can't imagine them next to my pandas, pygmies or habrosus...

What kind is it? Sorry the picture is bad, I used my phone.

I can't see the fish in the picture too clearly, but my guess is that it's a Brochis splendens, sometimes sold as an Emerald Green Cory. When you look at the picture, pay particular attention to its long nose and long, many rayed dorsal fin.

This picture is of Brochis multiradiatus with C. narcissus, which is one of the bigger corys. You can get an idea of the size by looking at the box filter behind them.

Barracuda518 and jollysue both have species of brochis and perhaps they will post pictures too. Maybe if you see the fish you can identify the one in the store.

I agree with Inchy, as I usually do. From the nose it looks like a Brochis. Always ready to post an already edited pic of my lovlies:

The male C. pantanalensis is spotted while the female is not. Often I have trouble telling the female C. pantanalensis from the Brochis

I look for the difference in the noses.
I think you can see the more rounded nose of the Cory in this pic

Your B. multis look great Inchy. I really need to arrange better acommodations for mine. They want more footprint and keep trying to move their tank.

That's a picture from shortly after I got them. I still have them all, but have been having some problems with them. I know I wanted to post on one of your threads where you mentioned yours, but have not had much time to post these days. Rather than go off topic with chibi's thread I'll look for it and probably post about them tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.
