big belly question

Hi!

i've had my little guy for 10 months now. when we purchased him he was already at adult size.

anyway, about 4 months ago he developed a huge belly, i immediatly thought it was dropsy, without the pinecone scales though. then, months were going by and his activitiy didn't change one bit, he still eats 3 pellets in the morning, 3 pellets at night, and still swims around like he's a citizen on patrol. i did notice a decrease in his bubble nest building, which is almost zero.

he has no labored breathing, and his colour is beautiful.

HELP!

what is going on with my little guy, and what should i do?

Middle age spread? No, seriously, how is his poo? Does he seem constipated? Maybe a shelled pea would help. If not, it may just be too much food for his metabolism. They are just like people if they eat too much and don't exercise enough they will get fat. You might try fasting him for a day or so and then the pea.

I'm thinking constipation you are feeding to many dry foods, do you feed him frozen foods, try him on some shelled peas.
