Bichir - Melafix?

I just dosed my ISO tank with Melafix for my fin-rot suffering Angelfish (from my Angel tank). Will Melafix harm my Senegal (Dinosaur) Bichir? He's in there cause he was being picked on by my knifefish, so he's growing a bit before being reintroduced to my semi-aggressive tank.

Thanks! I think I caught it pretty early. Raised the temp in the Angel tank for the others just in case along with moving him to my ISO tank.

On a side note how large are your bichir and knife fish?  In my experience these can not be housed together.  At least not while they are similar in size as the bichir can eat a knife that is just slightly smaller than itself.
