Bichir - Have To Share My Excitement!

Now that I have moved my Senegal Bichir youngling to a bigger tank, I tried out beefheart on him and my new ropefish that I bought today. What a show! I watched the Bichir gobble up 3 decent sized pieces. I was so excited! But even more surprising, I watched the rest of his tankmates have a go at the pieces too...my albino clawed frog, my betta, and my crab. The best show was watching the frog swim and run around with this big hunk of meat in his mouth that he couldn't dream of swallowing. I love this hobby...

i used to own a ghost knife and i'd feed him on beef heart. It was amazing to see him eat it.... much better than watching fish eat normal flakes or pellets...

My young Sengal Bicher recently ate my green speackled eel. Gutted. didnt think they would eat things that big, i was told only things big enough to easily fit in their mouths. I'm thinking maybe he'll need to go!
