Bichir Diet

I've been feeding my bichir rosy minnows but I now know this is not the best diet for him. When he was smaller he would eat Harki sinking carnivore pellets but then stopped and this is when I started him on fish. I have the room to gut load the feeder fish but what should I feed them/ treat them with before feeding him? What should his weekly diet schedule be? I got him to eat a cube of frozen beef heart but I' not sure if that's a good option for regular feedings. He's about 9 inches now.

you swapped to feeder fish why exactly?

good point above. If you have them on the tablets then you are set.
 
You need to get him back on pellets. In my own experience with Bichirs they can go a while whilst being weaned on to a new food but will take the pellets if and when hungry
