Bichet Jr. Had Arrived!

Bonjour!!

i just got a new friend!! its 4" ornate bichir and is just the adorablest thing in the world!!!!!! i named him after my beloved Bichet (RIP my friend of 14 years): Bichet Jr.!!!! he looks just like bichet and i love him soooo much already!!!

he is sooooooo cute!! he's starting to recognize me already!! he comes out and swims against the front glass whenever i go near the tank!! and he was never shy and was super active and outgoing the moment he came home!! as soon as i put him in the tank, after a couple of minutes, he started exploring and i just couldnt take my eyes off him for hours!! i almost cried when he just came..reminded me of bichet so much!!! even now i cannot stop smiling whenever i see him! its only been a few weeks and i think hes already becoming my favorite fish!!

i love you bibi jr!!!!

omg, and he was such GREAT appetite!!!! he would eat anything and everything!! just like bibi!! except bibi hated squid. in fact, i just gave him turkey heart and mmmmmmmmm yummy!! *gulp*

well i do have a bunch of tanks including 150gallons, but bibi jr lives in 55gallon tank since that was the tank bibi used to live in.



right now bibi's place looks a bit plain. no plants and only a couple of caves. at least bibi was huge so it looked a bit full, now that bibi jr is only a few inches long, the tank does look a bit enpty.

what should i add to the tank? more fish? decor??

and ideas??
