They are great fish, mine is extremely active which has always surprised me. How big is yours now? It looks quite chunky..

At my LFS, on the info card, it said they grow up to 50cm (or it may of been 80, its either 50 or 80 according to my lfs).

A BGK is a black ghost knife fish.

Looks great though mary, I'd quite fancy having one one day, especially if it hand feeds.

Maybe its 8" could be a bit more...u'd laff if u saw me with tape measure outside ov glass tryin to get a rough idea ov its length hahaha but thats round about right. No wonder he is chunky , he is fed on prawn, shrimp brine and loves catfish pellets, he is like a little hoover when i drop pellets in !

You'll watch it for hours Fella if u do...but anything that fits in his mouth he will eat...thats why i lost my half dozen neons and boy was he fat ! its deceiving thou cos his mouth only looks tiny but its quite big
