I have a 55 gal with 4 ropefish, and a rhino pleco. I was thinking of getting two Cascade-1500 canister filters to support more fish and i was wondering, could anytype of knife fit into my 55?

I've seen mix responses wether a Black Ghost Knife can go in a 55 gal. Some argue it is too small for a fish that size, as opposed to people who believe its 'docile' nature makes it acceptable.

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread!

What are the tank dimensions?

A BGK definitely wont fit they can grow 18"+. Im not sure if there are any types that will work but evan if there is i doubt they will be easy to find.

People usually reccomend african brown knives for 55g tanks but they still get quite large for them IMO but yeah a 55g is too small for a bgk.

The dimensions are 48"-13"-20ish" (can't remember off the top of my head.)

But what other, odballs would fit into my setup?
