Bettas spawned.

Finally my Bettas have decided that today is the day they meet up and share some fun!!!!

Just peeping under a towel now to see the male and female collecting the eggs... They seem so in love...

She looks pretty battered though

copulations err, congratulations jobysp our bettas just mated last night too. this was our second go with "tom dang" as the first time we didn't take him out soon enough and he ate almost all of them we did it again with the original female's sister, i'm sure they both have a lot to talk about now

What is that white circle thingy at the surface? Is that a device to help with the bubble nests?

The white circle thingy is the top of a styrofoam cup...

There are a few things in there where he could have built his bubble nest...

1/2 a styrofoam cup and the rim of a styrofoam cup didn't work for him...

What he loved was the breeding net placed over the tank so that it just touched the top of the water... In the end he covered 3/4 of the net with bubbles...
