Betta's in the UK

UK is too short to search on... so starting a thread on this
I reallllly want a good Betta, not a LFS one (poorly treated, lack of variety).
I would very much like a crowntail!

So does anyone know of UK breeders or dealers that could ship a Betta to me?

well, iv heard uk doesn't have much of market on bettas, hence the shortage of nice ones, but u could use aquabid and do a search for uk breeders. shipping from us is gunna be more of a hassle than its worth, i live in the us and i just payed 30 bucks shipping on a 10 dollar fish from indonesia shipping gets kinda crazy if i come across anything at all ill give u a buzz

I was led to believe that K.G Bettas would not have anything available for at least 2.5months...

Was looking for something a little sooner to be honest

Which LFS? I've checked a few nearer to me and only found common types of veiltails.

Maidenhead aquatics in Pollhill badgers mount sevenoaks
will get any betta you want

you can get them from aqua bid but bear in mind shipping is $40 dollars and if you paying say $20 for a fish you will add another $8 for western union transfere so $68 dollars for one fish also looke at this thread.......

I am not only gonna have one betta though Gotta keep the options open!

Danio, seems my local maidenhead can get any betta I like... so long as its a veiltail!

They may do, as far as I know maidenhead aquatics are franchises
so therefor its up to each individual manager where s/he gets the stock from.
