I've been thinking about another one to perk Bruiser up, but at the moment all I have is a 1/2 fish bowl (I'll tell you the horror story of what was fish housed in there another time  ). I also have one of those Small Kritter Karriers (they're sold in Petco and Petsmart...they're plastic rectangles with neon colored lids...do you know what I'm talking about??) and I'm not sure if that would have more room than a 1/2 gallon. I'm babbling though...just wanted others opinions. :)

i keep my guys in 1/2 gallons......i also asked a lot of people about it.....but from my 3 months of betta experience  it seems to work just fine. as far as i can tell my bettas r happy there even the female makes bubble nests. in the future tho i plan on moving them but for now it seems good

Mine are still alive in the 1/4 studio bowls :)

if you take proper care of a Betta it can live almost anywhere! those funky quart hexes are good homes too, but most people neglect them and don't do the daily water changes, making them seem like awful homes. then again, some Bettas like roaming space, some prefer to stay-at-home
