arrgh i dont know wot to do, my neons have had it before but i managed to clear it up by putting a pinch of salt in every other day and suddenly out of nowhere my fighters absolutly caked in it.
no matter how much salt i put in it isnt clearing its been about a week now and im panicking.

how do you all treat it do you use salt or is treatment better? and which brand?

any help much appreciated

You could use ich cure by countless numbers of names at the store but beware it can occasionaly cause your aquarium to fall out of cycle which isnt good at all, so if you take that path exercise caution, but it will clear up the ich.

I still say the tempature raise is the best and the safest way to get rid of ich, And bettas can tolerate this higher temp also. Good luck in what ever you decide to do...

Raise the temp, Water Change and Ich Cure from whatever brand you decide you can pick it up at any LFS. Good luck

thanx for your help everyone

ive put some treatment in from interpet and its calmed it down overnight so fingers crossed the lil chap will be ok.

thing is i thought the water looked like it needed changing so changed bout 15-20% of water then realised ivejust probably watered down the concentrate of the treatment woops

he should be ok

thanx again

Just add the right amount of med back to the water removed, probably need to use the piplette.
