Danios tend to be fin nippers and if you notice the betta is slot and has beatiful fins ....... it could work out try it and see .... maybe you could try to breed that good temperment through your danios :)

It worked for me! In my 29 gallon tank, before I got my Gouramis, I had 3 Zebra Danios and 1 male Betta. They got along great. Never had any problems with nipped fins, or chasing. Then again, the betta I had in there with them, was the biggest bada** in the world, and took crap from no fish. My tank is very well planted and has lots of hiding spots for both. I don't know if I'd suggest putting the two together unless the tank was set up like this.

I wouldnt. Unless you have a big tank with lots of surface plants the danios will crowd the betta in its own terattory which is nearly always the top of a tank.

I had my first betta in with ZD's and at first they were ok, after a month or so the ZD's became very aggressive towards him, so he moved to another tank with other danios. No problems now.
Try it, but keep your eye on them.

I just got a 20g the other day, I put my old Zebra Danios(and leopard)(6) in there, would they be ok with the Betta?, He seems to be a pretty aggressive Betta, god/bad Idea? If not my aggressive Betta, I have a Betta(YELLOW!!!!!) that's not too aggressive He doesn't even really flare at other Bettas.

Look at my signature. I have a Betta and 6 zebra danios together in a 50 gallon and if anything, the betta just gets annoyed with the little pirahnas (spelling?) and goes back in his stump. I think if you have enough zebra danios they won't pay attention to the betta.
I've got a multi-continent tank, and all my fish seem to get along.

My Betta's ok, but I also want to put Giant Danios in the 20g, will they be ok too. also, how long do Giant Danios live?

Giant danio will grow to 15.2cm long and can live for upto 6 years
your 20g tank is too short for them , they need at least 48" to swim in.
