bettas and other fish

I think it's fine as long as you just have 1 male.. and no fin nipping fish like tetras...

Also you'll want to make sure that the water currents aren't too strong
 
Unacceptable tankmates:

Other Bettas, Guppies, Platies, Mollies, Neon Tetras or other Tetras, Barbs of any sort, Gouramis.

Acceptable tankmates:
African Dwarf Frogs, White Cloud Mountain Minnows, Zebra/Leopard Danios, Coryadoras Catfish
 
Nah, recipe for disaster. Mollies can be VERY aggressive with Bettas (surprised me, but it happened here, and I would have lost a female Betta to it if I hadn't been watching). Platies are bright-colored, and confuse Bettas into attacking.

Bettas aren't really stupid, but they are aggressive with things that look like them. Okay, they're kinda stupid, but, for a fish, they're pretty smart.
