Does bettamax cure finrot? It says it helps with damaged fins, but I don't think it deals with finrot. I was also wondering what I should buy in case one of my fishes do have it. I wanted to start buying everything possible so I won't have to run down to the store when something happens.

Prevention is the best medicine. If you do everything correctly as far as housing,diet and water changes then you shouldn't have to worry about disease. But I suppose it's good to be prepared as well. Finrot is bacterial so bettamax should help it along,of course 100% wc's are recommended as well.

If anyone can find some bettaMax, or Neosulfex...made by Aquatronics...I would like to buy some. Aquatronics has went out of business, and the meds are getting hard to find. If you use these meds...you should stock up...because the well will run dry. Anyone willing to ship me some, pm me. I would really appreciate it.
