I've tried to find bettamax around my location for who knows how long. Can someone point me in the direction of where online I can purchase some? I and my bettas would really appreciate it!

if you dont mind buying from petco, they have it. thats th only place in birmingham i found it. its 6.99 there. i found it here online for 3.49 htough.

not yet. i have heard some bad reviews about their shrimp being shipped all the way across the country but i have also heard some really good reviews. i think they pnly have treouble with animal shipments. although on their website, there is a good review from someone in homewood. im going to place an order from them soon. ill let you know how it goes.

The company that makes Bettamax has gone out of business so it might be a good idea to stock up on a bit of it if you can.

they didnt go out of bussines, (rumored to have)just filed chapter 11 and not even sure if that is true, getting conflicting reports.

yea, everyone keeps saying stock up, all the stores are running out, but it's plentyful around here, every store I go in that stocks it, still has it and none have heard they won't be getting anymore shipments. Someone posted a while back that they called the company and was told they are still there, just doing a little restructuring (not sure if that's the Chpt. 11 or not). They even posted the phone number so others could call and confirm. <shrug>

Yes, it was me that posted that. They are located near my work. My LFS was surprised when I asked them if they were going out of business. He said he's heard nothing of the sort.
