Betta won't flare

hey guys,

well I tried putting a mirror net to the glass but he just keeps swimming up and down and wont flare. My angels on the other hand come next t othe glass and pose .

Why isin't he flaring ?

Maybe your betta switched places with your betta. How long have you had it? Maybe it just needs to settle down.

I've had him for a few weeks and he eats and does all other business well by the looks of it. He just seems to ignore the reflection of the mirror.

This weekend I will be buying another betta, i'll put the betta and the other aquarium next to each other and see. But I can't wait and I want to see the beautyfull betta display he's manhood .

Only once I saw him do the thing with hes gills and that was the once whilst eating bloodworms. But never actually flared

I'll give him some time and i'll try again soon with another male I should be getting tomorrow or sunday.

well after buying another betta today, whilst he was in the bag I left him on the auqrium with the blue betta, he sure did flare then! Looked amazing!.

The red one tends to flare with a mirror as well. Unlike the blue one
