Betta Territory in the Wild

I know bettas have small spaces in the Asian rice fields, but exactly how big is the average territory of a wild betta?

There is no "exact" or average territory overall. A betta may have a puddle during the dry season, but may be in a space the size of a small to good-sized pond the rest of the time. Some also live in streams. I'd have to believe their territory grows as the space available to them grows.
