Hi everyone!!!
I have a 5 gallon minibow fish tank with a betta and an algae eater. It has been empty, decoratively speaking, for weeks. I am not sure what to put in it. I already have gravel in it, I just don't have anything else in it. How should I decorate it? I don't need to be told what to do I just need some suggestions. Should I put silk plants in there? Live plants? I've read many places that bettas can cut their fins on the plastic plants, so I've taken all those out (it was decorated with plastic plants before my betta came) I just want something that's not going to damage my bettas fins. Is there anything besides plastic plants I should avoid?
Thanks,
~Aqua~

I have plastic plants in my tanks with the betta and they haven't ever ripped their fins yet, and the betta in the 20 likes to sulk on the plants sometimes too so I wouldn't really worry about using plastic plants.. HTH

I am currently using plastic plants as well with my Betta. Either live or plastic will do.

Like mike777 said, they like to rest on the plants sometimes - so its definately a good idea to put some in.
