Betta Tank Mates...

What fish can you add with a betta? I have a 10g tank and looking to maybe getting a betta but i want to get some more fish aswell... Any suggestions?

maybe some cories. i would get 4 or 5 as they like to be in groups.

if you have a sorta small tank get the pygmy type cory , they are awesome.

If it's a male betta, try to stay away from different fish with long flowing tails, they may thinks it's another male betta and have a 'face off' which may impair and even kill your other fish ;(

I've read in books on how good bettas are in community tanks... lets validate it?

Maybe some of the pygmy variety of corys or some otos.
