Betta Stress

I have two bowls that have 1 betta each (As you can tell by my sig). I want to know if I put the bowls near each other would that cause stress on the two bettas. I know people put dividers in their tanks and the bettas can swim and see each other but not actually cause physical harm. I just want to know before I move the smaller tank.

I don't think it would be a problem though if they flare a lot after a few days, give them some space apart. Most of the time you'll find Bettas crammed and stacked on one another in stores.

They wouldent be crammed next to one another naturally in the wild.

No, how they survive in the wild and manage to propagate the species is somewhat of a mystery.
