Betta Simplex, a mouthbrooding type

Well I just got her and am very happy to have her. Very amazing to actually see this Betta in person, not to mention owning one. A lot of people don't appreciate them but I think they are the most amazing things...

Her name is Thyme and she came from a friendly supplier.

I didn't buy her with the intention of breeding but can they be bread with their bubblenesting relatives? If so what is the easiest way to go; male or female simplex?

ive never heard of a betta simplex before.... but im pretty sure they cannot be cross bred with bubblenesting bettas..

best bet would be to find a male and let em have at it

"The only known habitat of B. simplex to date is the stream in the Krabi Province, southern part of Thailand. They are medium size Plakat that will grow to about 5 Cm. The stream where B. simplex live have neutral pH and mud floor that sometimes cover with carpet of Cryptocoryn crispatula."

Don't even ask how I got her They are a Threatened Species.
