Betta popeye

Anyone have any luck treating popeye with bettamax? My poor betta got on the losing end of a fight and wound up with most of his fins frayed and popeye on one side. I'm using bettamax for the fins and it is working well, but I'm concerned about the eye and don't want to combine medicines.

The bettamax should do it, just keep on top of your water changes. 100% daily for a week or so should do the trick.
