I've been attempting to take pictures of the bettas lately, and these are the best I have gotten so far.

Saffron - I have no clue what is up with his tail in the picture:

They are all very beautiful... the first picture certainly is decieving it makes him look like he is missing nearly all of his tail Thankfully it isn't true. They are all healthy and great looking fish.

Thanks. LOL, I thought his tail looked chopped off too - thank goodness it's not!

I'm just wondering, does anybody think that Saffron isn't a yellow but an apricot/peach? He is yellow in color, but not intense.

Just thought I would say that Vishnu, my greenish colored betta, died today.

I did get a new betta earlier (before Vishnu died), he's very pretty - he's opaque with some pinkish-purple markings. Never seen one like him, I wasn't planning on getting a new betta but I was getting guppies at the LFS and just about died seeing him. Pictures soon.
