Betta Made Bubbles Around Plant Tips!?!why?

i put a few more tall plants in his tank...today when i came home from school i went to feed him and saw about six small bubble nests around the tips of the plants...i know they do it when they breed, but does he want to breed or is he just happy?

Which fish do you mean the red betta that was ragged?

Your goldfish are happy, the proper gold fish has gone to school with my 2. The other fancies have got into my big tank with my 2 fancies. They are all swimming round in a little gang now!

im glad to hear the little fishies are happy...always imagined the plump one in a gang but yeah...the red one did it... B)

Unless they have been introduced to a female...I think they are just either happy or keeping themselves occupied.

Spoke to someone who works in a local pet shop today I know her.
I was asking about bettas she said you can have mine if you like he is getting eaten by my other fish....kept my cool...and said bring him in to me tomorrow I will buy him off you if you like.....will you all keep your fingers crossed that she does or I shall keep pestering her! I am now worrying about it.

COOL! id just keep hinting...'hows he doing then?' but hes damaged? can you look after him? if you want ill take him in...buy him or swap him for my healthy betta...not the red one.....as you know were setting up a tank so help nipped bettas....ill be able to keep a good eye on him....but thats your choice....what colour is he?
