Betta Intelligence And Personality.

Am I the only one who think betta's have personality and could be intelligent?

Betta's are also resilient fish. My betta is in my 29 gallon and its cycling, all the other fish died except him

I do believe that they have personalities and are pretty smart!
My old betta, Philip, was traumatized by my little sister when she almost killed him. Whenever she came into my room after that, he would flare at her and then hide.

My other boy, Tigger, likes to show off his fins for me and Cecilia, the female who sits next to him.

My newest female, Alice, is a real lively one. She likes to be out in the open and likes to swim with my cory cats and watch the pleco clean the glass.

My old betta, Philip, was traumatized by my little sister when she almost killed him. Whenever she came into my room after that, he would flare at her and then hide.

My DG Max, Who passed away last night had a personalty too. He would hide every time one of my oto's came near him after one of them sucked his side

I'm terribly sorry for your loss. Philip died end of july beginning of august. He was 8-9 years old.

I had one stupid betta fish. He was a whiteish, bluish, reddish veiltail and he jumped out a few times if his 2.5 gallon

I beg to differ with my PK male... He seems to think that the pellets that go in his tank are a threat an flares at them, he only eats them once they touch the floor and he thinks that whatever they are they're dead.
