This little guy was in about 2 inches of filth and had some bad fin rot when I got him. Is he a veil with damaged fins, or a plakat?

Soz I dunno all that much about bettas so I can't help you there. He's a really cool looking little guy you've got there though! If he is a veil though he must have had some pretty bad fin rot!

I can tell its a veil, i dont know any other types that have a dorsal fin like that, he probably does have bad rot, shouldn't be too big of a problem to clean up
