Hello all,

I was in a fish shop today and saw a small box designed to house 2 bettas.. it was about 6 inches long and about 5 ich high with a divider in the middle.

Is it ok to keep a betta in that? the two that was in it looked ok and they told me it was perfectly fine, but id rather ask here first.

Thanks

Kev

Those really aren't adequate to house 1 betta in much less 2. That container probably only hold about 1/2 gallon of water and the min. is generally agreed upon to be 1 gallon.

They will tell you it's ok..so they can sell you something and make a buck off you...doesn't mean it's "ok" to really do it.

Just because you aren't in WalMart doesn't mean people will still try and sell you crappy things ;)

So then is this ok?? .. because I was actually thinking of getting a smaller version of my ten gallon.

Hehe, i'll include pics.
