Betta has ripped fin!!!

Oh crap! I posted this in the wrong section. I thought I was in the betta section. Sorry guys... if a mod could please move it I and everyone else would be greatly appreciative.

use betta max.......or i heard that a little aquarium salt works wonders...

if its just a ripped fin,a nd not fin rot then i would recommend bettamax (not to be confused with the bottle of poo known as bettafix) or polyaqua. melafix will keep the fin from getting infected but i dont believe it does anything to soothe it. if you use melafix, i would recommend an extra pump of stresscoat or squirt of novaqua.

i dunno why everyone hates BettaFix.. i used it to fix my betta's ripped tail and it healed up nicely.

Yes Jack caught his top fin on a hard plastic plant and tore it...right after I got him. I sure tossed that plant fast! Not how I want to learn a lesson! He had a little blood on his fin, but with some Melafix and anxious tlc he's just fine. He had a knot in that top fin and tore it out...owieee. But now he's all fulla spit and vinegar again and just as devastatinly handsome as ever. I think I added abit more aquasafe to the water too, just a drop or two...oh heck my brain, it was something, if not that brand, that helps healing besides cleaning the water of chlorine etc.

i think your bettas tail healed naturally. bettafix is just a bottle of water to me.
