Hi all

I have a cycled 10 gal with 2 mini cory cats. I have 3 girls that will go in after their quarentine....then of course I was at the fish store and they have the cutest cream colored girl, tiny at only 4 mo. I did not buy her but can't get her out of my mind.....

Would it be too much on the bioload to have 4 girls (3 of them are around 6 or 7 mo old) plus the 2 corys?

4-6 girls is basically the number most people say you should have versus just three. I don't know age wise or about the cats though.

Don't worry about the bioload. You NEED at least 4 females to be safe. If all else fails, just do slightly more frequent water changes than you were planning on, and test your water more frequently.

They should be fine with the Cory Cats.

LOL...I have dragged my 3 and 4 year olds to the fish store so many times, what is one more time?

She looked so unhappy in that tank they had her in. Two big bossy females and tons of other fish. Talk about overstocked.

I just hope she is still there.
