I have to have ceramic media because I have a biorb life tank so covered them with large pebbles.
I bought 7 bags of them and tried to place them carefully to avoid as many gaps as I could but now an again my betta sneaks into the gaps and gets wedged between the glass and the pebbles and can't find his way back.
I've had to rescue him 4 or 5 times since I got him a few weeks ago. Should I take the pebbles out or will the ceramic media damage him too much? Any suggestions?
