betta genetics

I saw some lovely bettas online the other day, with white bodies and sky blue fins. Some one was telling me that they'd be blue cambodians, but someone else was saying that they probably also had some opaque in them. Could anyone help me out with that? I'd love to get some idea of his genotype. Unfotrunately, I don't remember the URL, anymore, so I can't show you guys the picture. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Cambodians usually have a pink/flesh-colored body with red fins. The 'new' blue cambodians have blue or purple fins, like mine:

Thanks for the witeup, modernshamlet. Its pretty helpfull, but raised more questions. There's still so much I don't know about the genetics of these fish *sigh*
