im going to start making custom design hand painted betta furniture to fit your bettas personalities :)

i made a nice shelf unit for freckles and his soon to be companions! :) i will post pics later but for now all i can do is tell you abou t it!

the shelfs that are made can hold single 1 gallon units on each shelf and the top shelfing unit can hold a 2.5G :) great huh?!?! i hand paint pictures of bettas on the sides and on the shelfs! the shelfs can be stained but you cant see the paintings if they are! currently i have a red and black halfmoon on my unit... and will be adding more :)

i dont ask for money i just want you guys to have nice places to keep your bettas :D

when i get a picture of my first finished product i will take a picture

neat huh?!?! :*)

here is some pictures of my first one! (not finished yet)

here you can see how i have it attached to the wall (only cause i have uneven flooring) the L-unit is drilled into the first shelf unti holding the 2.5 gallon

yes! But you chould make some that hold a 5g tank... I have my bettas (all of them) in 5 g tanks (i only have 2 bettas though)....

that would be a nice thing to have b/c I am running out of room to put my tanks on... :S I def have MTS. I have a 29g, 3 x 10g, 2 x 5g, and an empty 10g for hermit crabs... Wew that's alot, even though they're not all in my room, but 4 of them are....

oh yea! like i said i can customize them :) no extra charge... the only thing paid is shipping (wood cost money :S )

:) 5Gallons is deffinatly my max though... i will also need your dimensions! 6 shelfs is as high as i will go also!

i have also added another feature :)

when i ship the shelfs there will be some assembly required but they will also have instructions :) they all have a 1 year warranty on them, my number, my adress etc...

another thing im sending out are seperate units to place on walls sperated away from each other, in corners, above your computer table etc... each sperate unti will ONLY hold 1G and they will also have designs!

i can also add your bettas name to the shelf :)

im just making the people pay for shipping... im giving them away free right now :) but when i put them on aquabid i will begin to make money cause then i will be selling them for 5 dollars and buynow for 10! then i will have a shipping calculator on the site!

Yeah honestly, I'd insist on paying! You could probably charge $20 and people would pay. It's hard to find a decent shelving unit that will handle that much weight. It's gonna start rackin' up some serious debt on your half if you don't charge a little bit more. You're very generous!! They do look fantastic, though. Makes me want to whip out some wood and get over to the circular saw!!

^_^ hehe saucy ... i can make you a unit just for your betta :hey:

20$ wow that seems outragious on my end! the wood i use to build the things with is 6' long and 1'' thick

only cost me 5 dollars for on thing of it o.o wow i had no idear... im only giving a few away for free with shipping being paid buy the costumer :) and then when i get the money from my job im going to be making more and more and thats when i put them on aquabid!

thank you :) i have decided to not make the assembly required ones but still send a warranty paper signed by me saying the warranty is approved!

another thing here are the dimensions:

4' tall
1' wide
6" deep :)

Am I understanding you? You are going to ship a shelf that is fully assembled in the mail? That seems quite pricey. I love the shelf though, it is very pretty.

A 4' package is going to be high on shippping. I used to ship car parts...wood is heavy and something that long and wide is going to be a doosey when you try to ship it. They ask the dimensions plus the weight. I have a feeling that is going to put it in the "oversize" package category...and if you ship USPS it will not be machinable..so it will be oversize as well.

The wood, braces, and hardware to put these together are expensive..why are you buying it and giving it away? Most real wood shelving units run about $40+ for unfinished products.

Anyways..good idea though. Good luck.

id want one for buddy since i want to move him but i dunno if that would be stong enough for a hevy glass one gallon
