I voted algae eaters, but this really depends on the betta though, some are just fine in large community tanks and others need to be by themselves.

algae eaters can be in the same tank with a betta..but like tanked said it depends on the betta's personality...

Its all about the money, in my oppinion. Bling-Bling ya know?

Bettas need money, they have places to go people to see, they gotta shop! You put them in a tank with other fish and it all depends of wether its a wealthy community or not. You got a poor fish community then thats no good for Betta. Betta won't take that **** lying down! YOU GO BETTA! Betta needs a rich community of fish, lots of cash-money, and good eats.
