betta food

I have a platy, betta, gourami, and a black skirt tetra. I just set up my tank like a month ago. don't worry, i put cycled water from another tank in it. I was wondering, can my fish live on BettaMin betta flake food?? i've been feeding them that and they seem ok. why do they even make special food for bettas?? what's wrong with them eating regular fish food??

if your betta is eating the flakes, I guess go with it. but it is good to expand their diet...but ya never know, your betta may get a taste for something new and never go back to the flakes but as far as the other fish, I would imagine the betta food is as good as any other

all of my betta eat hikari bio-gold (which also contains garlic which is a great immune booster) and the colors on all of them are brilliant, they also eat live brine(daily),dried blood worms,frozen blood worms & frozen plankton now & then
