betta fins

My betta got into a fight with another betta when there devider broke and now both there fins are shreded. Will there fins regrow and how long will it take.

Yes, the fins will grow back . I'm not sure how long it takes tho! Sorry~!

Probaly a month or two depending on how much of their fins are gone/shredded. Have you used any meds on them? It might speed up/aid the fin growth.

Sometimes it can take less time to grow back. Some of my fish have regrown their fins in a matter of days/weeks. Use melafix, and feed them lots of livefood. This always helps.

yeah i would suggest you isolating the bettas and not let them see eacho ther to discourage them to flare. Add salt + some kind of finrot medication (melafix, bettaMAX, etc). Keep the water extra extra clean for the next few days, and if he seems stressed, drape a cloth over his tank to keep him covered and secure.

it would take about a week before you start to see new growth, and the new growth will grow in as transparent, so don't be surprised. Sometimes it'll take sooner or later depending on how severe the cut was. Also note that you shouldnt' expect the tail to be 100% the same as it was before unless i'ts a veyr minor cut.
