Betta feeding

When housing a betta in a large community tank(45gl) are there any special suggestions for their feeding?

When a betta is in a community tank it'll eat any food you drop in there. I drop betta food in first since he's 'trained' to come up and beg for it,then when he's done eating I drop in the food for the other fish. He'll still eat some,but I like to make sure I see him eat his food first.

Perhaps you could try and get him to vacuum his own tank?

Actually, it's wrong to compare fish to us men. One likes to lounge around doing nothing all day except eating and drinking, the other .......
