Need some help. Just purchased a beautiful blue Betta. I have no experience. He seems to be doing quite well in a small aquarium but suddenly he has begun to build a bubble nest in the corner. What do I need to do if anything? He is the only fish I have and I'll need to clean the tank and does it matter if in this procedure the nest is destroyed. (No female).
no problem. Male bettas will often build a bubble nest when moved to new quarters. He will do this at times and other times he wont. With no female betta around it wont matter if you clean the tank. If he wants to rebuild the nest he will. HTH
