Betta Companions

What are some fish that get along with bettas that arn't corys or clown loaches ect.? Do Dwarf Gouramis get along with them?

Dwarf gouramis are a no-no... they're anabantoids like bettas are, and anabantoids don't tend to like one-another very much. Khuli loaches, African dwarf frogs, or white cloud mountain minnows might be a good choice, but it really depends... what size is the tank your betta is in?

cories,white cloud mountain minnows,shrimp,snails and more can be kept with bettas

no goruamis and i would advise against tetras and guppies too

Ethier a 3 gal or 20 gal. Do they get along with Angelfish? (I haven't got any fish yet, I'm just planning.)

i would go for the 3gal with a betta.They dont get along with quite afew fish so you would be narrowing down the choices of other fish in a bigger tank such as a 20gallon.

how about get a 3gallon for a betta and then get some shrimp for company.Or snails for company

then get a 20gallon community!

angelfish and bettas do not get along very well as angels are fin nippers.
also angelfish need a tank size of at least 30gallons.

No. Mine in his temp home flares at my bigger angels in the main tank. They must 4 times his size at least and he still puts his face to the netting in an attempt to get them. Bless.

I'd put the betta in the 3 gallon with an African dwarf frog and some ghost shirmp for company. I say ghost shrimp because sometimes bettas decide to snack on shrimpies, and ghost shrimp are some of the cheapest... you know, "just incase"
